Evening Meeting Information

Please refer to the 'upcoming meetings' page for details on specific meetings. The information below is 'additional':

The main purpose of the EFBG evening meetings is to introduce new members to the group who maybe unable to make morning meetings or who are new to networking in general.

These evening meetings are kept very informal: there is no standing up in front of everyone and giving presentations, and you are certainly not pressured into bringing any referral business. These concerns are often what puts people of attending networking meetings.

Each meeting will have one key speaker from the morning group to provide a 'Presentation of Use'. This is not simply a sales pitch from the group member but a useful insight into their expertise which you can hopefully take tips away from and use within your own business.

The evening meetings are just £5 to attend which includes light refreshments. (FREE for EFBG members)

The principle goal of these evening meetings is to increase the number of morning members. The morning group does insist on 1 member only per discipline to avoid any conflict. We do therefore ask that you check on the members page if you are looking to become a full member with a desire to come to our morning meetings in case you conflict with any existing members.

The following list are types of businesses and trades that the group has highlighted as being areas where we would actively like to see new members from as we believe they would bring a direct benefit to the group and likely to gain referral business straight away:

  • Builder
  • Electrician
  • Plumber
  • Bookkeeper
  • Cleaning Company
  • Office Supplier
  • Architect
  • Surveyor
  • Insolvency Practitioner
  • Chemist
  • Garage Owner/Car Mechanic
  • Gardener
  • Floor Fitters
